You can experience adventurous rafting on the Trishuli River, Nepal’s most popular rafting destination. Trishuli River is just a few hour’s drive from Kathmandu, Pokhara, or Chitwan. It offers a mix of adventure and scenic beauty.

The Trishuli River has Class II to Class III rapids, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced rafters. Beginners can still enjoy the adventure by opting for gentler sections of the river and rafting with an experienced guide.

This rafting does not require previous experience and can be enjoyed fully, as you will be there with our experienced guide. It can be done by anyone over the age of 12 in good physical condition. Wearing a rafting life jacket is compulsory, allowing you to float on the river.

The best seasons for Trishuli River Rafting are February to June and September to January. July and August are avoided due to the monsoon season in Nepal. The starting point is Majhimtar, and the endpoint is Kurintar ( Manakamana Cable Car), which is 15 km away.

Short Itinerary for Trishuli River Rafting

• Driving from Kathmandu to Majhimtar Dhaging, which is just 80km away from Kathmandu, takes around three hours.
• Equipment setup will be done.
• You will be briefed about the rafting and safety tips.
• The rafting last for around 3 to 4 hours.
• The ending point of rafting is Kurintar ( Manakamana Cable Car).
• After Lunch, you will be transferred to Kathmandu or your next destination.
