Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m).

Amazing Himalaya’s representative will welcome you at the Airport and transfer you to a hotel in Kathmandu. After you rest, we will start by briefing you about the trip. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Full day Sightseeing Tour in Kathmandu and Preparation of Trekking Permit.

Start the tour by visiting prominent sites around Kathmandu Valley. Today, you will explore  Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Swaymbhunath, and Boudhanath Stupa. All the sites are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites and hold cultural and historical significance.

Kathmandu Durbar Square is one of the popular tourist sites in Kathmandu, also known as Bastanpur or Hanuman Dhoka. It is divided into two courtyards: the outer courtyard houses Kasthamandap, Kumari Ghar, and the Shiva-Parvati Temple, and the inner section comprises Hanuman Dhoka and the primary palace. Several floors have been transformed into museums honoring three generations of Nepal’s Shah kings.

Pashupatinath Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple attracts thousands of pilgrims, especially during the Maha Shivaratri festival. Set along the banks of the Bagmati River, it features intricate temples, ashrams, and ghats where traditional cremation ceremonies take place.

Heading to our next stop, Swayambhunath Stupa, popularly known as Monkey Temple. It is perched on a hilltop from the top; Swayambhunath offers panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley. Swayambhunath holds a special place in both Hinduism and Buddhism, surrounded by monasteries. Explore its rich history, soak in the spiritual atmosphere, and enjoy the serene surroundings.

While you are sightseeing around Kathmandu, we will prepare a special permit for the trek.

You’ll also have some leisure time to rest and prepare for the Annapurna Circuit trek. In the evening, you’ll receive a detailed briefing about the trek.

Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Bulbule & Trek 2-3 hours to Nagdi.

After breakfast, we will drive through an impressive mountain landscape, pass peaceful villages, and finally reach Bulbule (200 km) in 7 hours. Bulbule is located on the bank of the Marsyangdi River. Throughout your drive, you will witness terraced farms, traditional villages, and snow-covered peaks.
After checking in our trekking permit at the check post in Bulbule, our trek begins for Nagdi, taking approximately 2 hours. We will stay overnight in a Trekkers’ Lodge.

Day 04: Nagdi - Jagat (1310m),5 hours.

Today’s trek takes you through lush jungles and terraced fields alongside the Marsyangdi River, with breathtaking mountain views along the way. The journey from Nagdi to Jagat, at an altitude of 1,310 meters, will take about 5 hours.

After the lunch break, you’ll continue through tranquil villages, eventually arriving in Jagat, where you’ll settle in for the night at a cozy Trekkers Lodge.

Day 05: Jagat-Dharapani (1858m),5-6 hours.

Continuing our trek, we will follow the Marsyandi River to our next stop, Dharapni. After climbing the steps, we will enter the Manang region at Tal village. Throughout the way, we will come across many waterfalls forming rivers and sandy beaches. The trail is a mix of scenic beauty and physical challenge, starting with a steady hike along the riverbank.

Here, you’ll find comfortable accommodations in a Trekkers Lodge, where you can relax and rejuvenate for the next leg of your journey

Day 06: Trek from Dharapani to Chame (2630m),5 hours.

Trek through breathtaking landscapes with ever-changing scenery, crossing suspension bridges and marveling at cascading waterfalls. The trail involves a steady climb, but your hard work pays off as you near Chame, a charming village tucked among rolling hills. Here, you’ll find peace and stunning views of the surrounding peaks, making it an ideal place to relax after a day of trekking. Spend the night in a cozy Trekkers Lodge, recharging for the next leg of your adventure.

Day 07: Trek from Chame to Pisang (3300m),5-6 hours.

Day 7 of the Annapurna Circuit Trek takes you from Chame to Pisang at an altitude of 3,300m. The trek lasts 5-6 hours, starting with a walk through dense forests in a narrow valley, crossing rivers on long suspension bridges. As you ascend, stunning views of Pandanda and nearby peaks gradually come into view, adding to the beauty of the journey. You’ll arrive at the village of Pisang, which lies between 3,200m and 3,300m, where you’ll spend the night in a cozy Trekkers Lodge, resting up for the next day’s adventure.

Day 08: Trek from Pisang to Manang (3500m),5-6 hours.

Today’s trekking starts from part of Pisang and ends in drier Manang. Drier Manang does not receive any monsoon rain because the Annapurna range blocks the clouds; hence, there is not much vegetation or agriculture. On our way to Manang, we will see many villages where we will encounter semi-nomadic lifestyles, with families earning their livelihood through poultry farming and trading. Overnight in Trekkers Lodge.

Day 09: Acclimatization at Manang.

We will spend today acclimatizing in Manang. We will spend an entire day strolling around, witnessing the magnificent views of the villages, and/or going to the famous ice-lake nearby. This will give us good practice for altitude adaptation. Overnight in Trekkers Lodge.

Day 10: Trek from Manang to Ledar (4250m),3-4hrs

Today, we will ascend 700 meters, leaving Manang and heading towards Ledar. As we ascend, we will see nature unfolding and witness vegetation becoming less dense with the increasing altitude. The trail passes through Marsyangdi Valley to Tenkito Jarsang Khola Valley, and finally, we will reach Ledar at 4250m. Overnight in the Trekkers lodge.

Day 11: Trek from Ledar to High camp (4600m),.3-4 hours.

This trail prompts us to descend to the river, and we start to ascend to Phedi at 4420m. At High Camp, at an elevation of 4600m, we might discover a few recently built guesthouses, where we will be staying overnight. We will spend the night in Trekkers Lodge.

Day 12: Trek from High Camp to Muktinath (3710m),8 hours.

Day 12 begins with an early morning start from High Camp, situated at the “foot of the hill,” as you embark on the ascent to the Thorong La Pass at 5,416m. The well-trodden trail leads you upward for about four hours, with each step bringing you closer to one of the most exhilarating points of the trek. As you reach the pass, marked by Chortens and colorful prayer flags, you’re rewarded with a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view that stretches across the Himalayas. After soaking in the views, you’ll descend to Muktinath (3,710m), where you’ll spend the night in a comfortable Trekkers Lodge.

Day 13: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (2800m),6 hours.

Today is our last day of hiking in the Annapurna region. After breakfast, we begin our journey via Kagbeni to Jomsom. Kagbeni is situated in between Jhong Khola & Kalighandaki. It is a getaway to the Uppermustang. In Kagbeni, you can see a village with many Tibetan influences. After Lunch, your trek continues to Jomsom. Overnight in the Trekkers’ lodge.

Day 14: Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara.

After an early morning breakfast, walk to the airport and fly to Pokhara for 20 minutes. Arrive in Pokhara and transfer to the hotel. Today, you have a free day in Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.
