It is a newly opened trek route in the Annapurna Region. The Mardi Himal Trek is perfect for trekkers seeking an intimate and peaceful trek, as the route is less crowded.
In these 10 days of the Mardi Himal Trek, you will not only get a chance to get closer to nature but also explore the vibrant city of Kathmandu. Before starting the trek, you will also visit Pokhara, the city of lakes. In this luxury trek of Madi Himal, you will get top-notch accommodation and a private guide.
The best season for Mardi Himal Trek is around the year, but it is good to avoid rainy seasons in the months of July and August. However, spring and autumn are the best seasons. Spring brings blooming rhododendrons and lush greenery, while autumn offers clear skies and mild temperatures, making for ideal trekking conditions. However, it’s a good idea to check weather forecasts and trail conditions before starting on your trek, as weather patterns can vary.

With our experienced team, we have designed the itinerary of the trek, keeping in mind the comfort and safety of our guests. Throughout the journey, you will be accompanied by our knowledgeable guide, who will make your journey comfortable and give you insights into the sites you are visiting.
After flying over the peaks of the Himalayas, you will land at Tribhuvan International Airport. Upon arrival, our Airport representative will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel in Kathmandu. After checking in to the hotel, freshening up, and enjoying free time, you can explore Kathmandu or rest at the hotel. Overnight rest in the hotel.
Before starting our Mardi Himal Trek, we will have to reach Pokhara. We will take a 6—to 7-hour drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, which is around 200 kilometers away. Pokhara is a city of lakes and one of the must-visit places in Nepal.The city is situated directly on Lake Phewa, offering a wonderful view of the immediate and up-close mountain panorama of the Annapurna massif. Numerous hiking trails in the Annapurna area start from here.
Once we arrive in Pokhara, we can enjoy various activities. You can take a walk by the beautiful Phewa Lake, sample some delicious local cuisine, or visit one of the city’s many scenic viewpoints. Overnight in Pokhara.
After breakfast, we’ll drive to Phedi, which is about half an hour from Pokhara. Our trek starts here, leading us through rocky ravines, terraced farms, and forests. From Dhampus, we’ll head towards Deurali. This lovely village is perched on a ridge and offers stunning views of Annapurna South, Mardi Himal, and Machapuchare. We’ll spend the night in Deurali.
Starting your trek from Deurali to Forest Camp today, you will ascend through lush forest to reach your destination, the Forest Camp. If visited in spring, the forest will be adorned with the vibrant Rhododendron flower, Nepal’s National Flower. Enjoy a peaceful hike and walk through a peaceful forest along the way, you can witness different species of birds.
Upon reaching the Forest Camp, you will rest and explore the famous tourist destination, Khokhar, in the evening. Overnight stay at Forest Camp.
Today we will trek from Forest Camp to Lower Camp and then on to Higher Camp, which will take about 5-6 hours. The trek starts with a climb through a lush forest, showcasing a variety of plants and animals. As we go higher, we’ll reach a valley with stunning views of Mount Fishtail (Machapuchare). We’ll keep going until we reach Higher Camp, where we’ll spend the night.
Today, you will climb to the Upper Viewpoint, get ready to witness a fascinating panorama of the mountains, including Mardi Himal, Baraha Shikhar, Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Tent Peak, Hiunchuli, Singhachuli, Machhapuchhre, and more. The view from top is really mesmerizing soak into the scenic atmosphere as much as you can.
Enjoy the view from the top, after enjoying the scene, descend back over pastures and a steep, narrow ridge to Lower Camp. Overnight in Lower Camp.
The trek from Lower Camp to Australia Camp takes about 5-6 hours, depending on your pace. Follow your own path as you descend through Deurali. Enjoy diverse landscapes and a peaceful environment as you make your way to Australia Camp. Overnight stay in Australia Camp.
Today is the last day of your Mardi Himal Trek. After breakfast, you’ll hike briefly (1.5 hours) to Kande and then drive 1 hour to Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive you back to the east of Pokhara on the Pokhara – Kathmandu highway. If the weather is clear, you can once again enjoy the breathtaking views of the beautiful Himalayan range, including renowned mountains like Ganesh Himal, Himalchuli, Manaslu, and Annapurna, on your journey to Kathmandu. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.
Today marks the last day of the Mardi Himal Trek. Upon checking your flight schedule, we will transfer you to the Airport. Until then, you will have free time to do some last-minute shopping or just rest in the hotel.
