Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative from Amazing Himalaya Trekking will receive you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Today, we will start our Nepal Experience Tour by visiting various UNESCO-listed world heritage sites in Kathmandu. The sightseeing includes Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath Stupa, and Boudhanath Stupa.
We will kick off our tour by visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square, located in the heart of the city. This fascinating complex dates back to the 12th century and is home to several ancient temples and shrines, including the Taleju Temple, Kumari Ghar, and Kasthamandap. Enjoy the view of ancient architects in the temples around Durbar Square.
Swayambhunath, popularly known as the Monkey Temple, lies on a Hill in the Kathmandu Valley. It offers a panoramic view of the city and is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Surrounded by monasteries, Swayambhunath holds a special place in both Hinduism and Buddhism. Explore its rich history and soak in the spiritual atmosphere.
The next stop is Pashupatinath Temple, a Hindu Temple Dedicated to Lord Shiva. Visitors and devotees around the world come here to offer prayers. Located on the bank of the Bagmati River, only Hindus are allowed inside the temple premises; other visitors are welcome to explore the outer complex of Pashupatinath. From a respectful distance, you can observe various rituals and ceremonies and soak in the serene atmosphere of the temple grounds.
Concluding our day by visiting the last site of the day, Boudhanath Stupa. It has a spiritual vibe with Tibetan chanting and mantras. Strolling around the Boudhanath stupa is a different kind of experience. You can sit in one of the rooftop cafes to soak up the spiritual vibe of the site. Around the stupa, there are many handicrafts and souvenir shops, and you can get something to take back home.
Finally, return to your hotel and take a rest, after a whole day of Kathmandu exploration.
After exploration around Kathmandu the Nepal Experience Luxury Tour will take you to the beautiful city Bhaktapur. It is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The highlights of Bhaktapur Durbar Square are Nyatapola Temple, a statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, the Peacock Window, the Golden Gate, and the 55-windowed palace.
Art and craftsmanship are at the heart of Bhaktapur’s identity, with a long tradition of painting, sculpture, and architecture. The Bhaktapur National Art Gallery features a wide range of artworks, from ancient artifacts to modern masterpieces. Admire detailed wood carvings, stone sculptures, and metalwork, each showcasing the incredible skill and creativity of Newari artisans. From Bhaktapur we will head to our next destination, Changu Narayan Temple, built in 323 AD during the Licchavi Dynasty.
The place is an open museum of ancient temples, courtyards, sculptures, and other ancient remnants from Lichavvi times. We will hike for about 2 hours to Nagarkot from here. On our way to Nagarkot, we can see the spectacular view of mountain ranges. Overnight in Nagarkot.
Wake up early in the morning to witness the sunrise from the top of the hill. Sunrise from Nagarkot is one of the highlights of this tour. We will hike up to the viewpoint, aligned with the breathtaking sunrise, and you will get to see Himalayan views, including Mount Everest, which also offers a stunning view of the Indravati River valley.
After soaking in the divine view, we head back to the hotel for breakfast. Our next stop is Dhulikhel. We will hike through paddy fields and peaceful Nepali villages all the way to our Dhulikhel.
Overnight stay in Dhulikhel.
After breakfast, we’ll hike up to Namoboudha, passing through orange farms, paddy fields, and beautiful landscapes. Namoboudha is a significant site with a collection of monasteries, temples, and historical spots linked to Buddha himself.
Visit the various monasteries and temples and soak in the peaceful atmosphere. Learn about the legend of the compassionate prince, a story that adds to Namoboudha’s mystique.
After exploring Namoboudha we will hike back to Dhulikhel, enjoying the serene landscapes and rural scenery.
We’ll spend the night in Dhulikhel.
Today is the last day of the Nepal Experience Luxury Tour Package; after breakfast we will transfer you to Kathmandu at Tribhuvan International Airport for departure to your next destination.
