Amazing Himalaya Trekking brings you 10 days of community school projects for students. This volunteering trip to Nepal is focused on supporting local schools and communities. This kind of volunteering is provided upon request from the schools or communities or if there is a genuine need. Amazing Himalaya Trekking (AHT) does not impose projects on schools or communities; they are invited to support ongoing or new initiatives through the provision of volunteers.
The primary goal behind such projects is to lower the project cost by collaborating with skilled and unskilled manpower. Projects include painting buildings, constructing toilets, and repairing community taps. The volunteers will work alongside community members and hired/skilled laborers. Those without specific skills engage in manual labor, including lifting, moving, digging, and painting, using local mechanical tools for tasks that are generally low-tech by Western standards.
Participating in a volunteering project in Nepal is the perfect opportunity to explore the amazing landscape of the Himalayas and the country’s cultural heritage while doing something meaningful. Giving back to the community not only helps the community become a better place but also provides volunteers with valuable experience and personal satisfaction from being part of a positive change. This volunteering project will take you to Chitwan and Lumbini
Amazing Himalaya Trekking does not guarantee funding for external community maintenance projects but will make contributions if funding is available.
